A swim into the sunrise

Today a friend of mine's parents had their anniversary. Around 5:30 in the morning they had planned on swimming all the way to long island from the shore, me and my mom took the boat out and were their spotters for the swim! We watched them swim into the sunrise (literally, the sun was directly in front of them blinding us) and it was kinda cute. After about 30 min. they had made it to the island, which is quick for such a long distance. We then drove back in the boat and they gave us chocolate for the help! I can't wait to break into those...
