It's life Jim but not as we know it!! :)

This is what I call a Star Trek lily! I've been admiring them for a while now, they're bobbing around at the top of the 3 rise locks in Bingley and they have a tiny little white flower with them which are out shone by the striking leaves which do look like the Star Trek logo. No flowers on this one but the leaves are quite nice viewed large.
Their reflections are lovely and make lots of Trekky shadows - and this morning the sky was a gorgeous blue, reflecting in the canal. No idea what they really are but let's sing to the joy…….Star trekking!
