Morning walk near Manly

There are countless piers and promenades along the seashore in this part of Brisbane. I have never seen so many people out for a jog, a walk, a fast run, a swim or a stroll as I have here. Sport is a fundamental part of Australian life and one can only envy the wide open playing fields, parks, bowling greens, dog runs, beaches and so on. The two sea towns of Wynnum and Manly merge into one another and it is hard to tell the difference. I am sure the locals would disagree but I won"t be here long enough to find out. Back into Brisbane tomorrow afternoon.
