Driftwood

at Blackhall Rocks.

We went north to County Durham today with the Stokesley U3A Natural History Group, visiting Blackhall Rocks which is well known for its wild flowers. After a picnic lunch we went to Crimdon Dene which is well known for its Little Terns.

Unfortunately we were too late to see either the wild flowers or the Little Terns (the last one left yesterday). It was another cold, dismal day and we were dressed as if it was November.
