Broken Beads

Whilst having coffee with the Tuesday Gang on Tuesday I was handed a plastic bag of broken beads by DavidS - they had belonged to his mother-in-law and he thought I might make good use of them. This delicate woven bead necklace is particularly beautiful, I intend keeping it as it is and using it as inspiration for pattern and design.

Today has been cold and windy, very heavy rain late afternoon and into the evening. After shopping online for Home Insurance I started removing the tiles from the kitchen ceiling, satisfying work which may take a while, but there's no hurry :-)
