81/365 Burns Supper

We had a great time yesterday evening! Friends of ours organised a Burns Supper. The Scottish blippers know exactly what that is all about. I did not know until last evening. A Burns supper is a celebration of the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns, author of many Scots poems. Me and 4 friends went to Scotland last year for a week and stayed in Oban. One of mny friends wanted to buy a kilt, but it was quite expensive. Now they hired 5 kilts and the ladies were in medieval dresses. A well known Scot John Marriott, was in the lead for the Burns Supper. Of course we ate hagis (the original and a vegetarian version). John read some poems of Robert Burns, we drank whisky and danced on bagpipe music.
We had a wonderful evening, very special indeed.
