Poppies

My son Bastie Socks took this photo on a trip to London today. These are the poppies at the Tower of London. We have bought a poppy so when they are taken down we will get one, a nice keepsake I think.
I didn't actually go with them today, I stayed home with Mr Socks, who had the day off. We walked the dog cleaned the house and ate cake.... You know the usual stuff !!!
Positive news of the day I was offered the shop managers job that I applied for and I am really excited. I am going to meet with the owner tomorrow to talk shop, happy days x
