the life of a peregrine

I think my following of the peregrine family is coming to an end this season. The 3 juveniles have now disappeared to find their own patch and independence. The adults by contrast seem to spend more time sitting around than flying. This pose of the male asleep, following what looks like a hefty meal (by the looks of that huge crop) is now quite typical.
