Girl Power

Sadly my Nephew and Nice had to leave today. They were wonderful company.
After supper K&A (aka the granddaughters) decided we to needed to go and see if there was a good sunset – there was.
Then K&A decided we needed to run to the sea for one last splash before bed. I am the sort of Nana who agrees to this sort of thing but ... the tide was out and it is the sort of beach where the tide goes a very long way out. We eventually go there in time for a quick splash and then a mad dash up the beach before it got dark. We laughed most of the way!

The-only-son and his wonderful wife (Mum and Dad to K&A) arrive tomorrow and we’ll leave them all here and go home. We're having a great time, we’ll be sad to go – but I do need some sleep!
