Blackcurrants, all from a single little neglected bush. Some not so black, but if I'd left them, our feathered fiends would have had them. They've had a good few. What with generous quatities of sultanas from the neighbours (few from me a this time of year), and the cherries (judging by the stones that have appeared all over the garden), they're doing rather well.

A message to them (Blackbirds) - "You're getting far too much sugar in your diet. So leave my currants alone! Go slurp a slug!"
