Weights and measures

A picture of my imperial and metric weights for Saturday shapes and shadows. Interesting to note that the imperial weights stack better - having 16 ounces to the pound means that precisely one of each weight is needed to produce any combination you require, whereas the metric system needs two of some weights, making an untidy stack! But on the other hand the hexagonal shape of these metric weights means they fit together nicely on the work surface.
