Time For Another Shot Of Basil

We went out fairly early to Nanpantan to take photos with my huge lens, but the wildlife wasn't obliging. Then just as we were leaving, the grebes came to our end of the reservoir. Grrrr.

No sign of the black tufted duck and her little one. I fear that the little one was taken too. The fishermen have confirmed that there are pike in the lake.
