Last Saturday I brought you the Hemp-agrimony unadorned. Today the sun was out, and despite a cool wind Peacock, Red Admiral and Small Tortoiseshell butterflies were drawn to the flowers. There were a few Small Heaths in the grasses nearby, and a solitary Small Copper in the heather.

I've had to revert to my old camera for the moment as the sensor problems with the other haven't cleared up. I'm missing the zoom, but its still possible to get up close to the butterflies if I'm patient. It remains to be seen whether I need to invest in a new one. Still, it's less than a month to my birthday...
