Shopping at the beach

I did not expect to have to remove my shoes when I popped into Body shop today. The whole floor was covered in sand! This was a very cool PR stunt.

Today I pottered around, baked some banana bread and settled down to watch the first episode of Doctor Who. The change that naturally comes with the programme is uncomfortable to watch at first but I do think I'm going to like Peter Capaldi's doctor.
