Flax spinning on Skansen outdoor museum

We visited Skansen today, to enjoy their "flax and wool day" - it was a fabulous experience! This lady was spinning flax on Älvrosgården.

We could see the whole process of linen production: retting, breaking, scutching, heckling and spinning. We also saw felting of wool in a fulling mill, sheep shearing, bobbin lace work and rope making. And lots more... :-)
