Cheery violas

Son J arrived home from his family holiday on Friday evening and today he is off on his travels again, on business this time. He is going to a two hour conference in Malaysia! This involves two flights, two ferry trips and just one overnight in a hotel and he will be home again by Wednesday. This seems utterly extraordinary to me, but he says that video conferencing is not an option.
Meanwhile at home I am cheered by these tiny violas on the garden table. They are not much more than 1 cm across. I hope they last through the winter - I must keep dead heading them.
