Carnival!

If its August Bank Holiday - then its Carnival. Food, costumes and fun. The weather was trying to dampen things this year, but it was still great. I tried mutton curry for the first time (first time I'd had mutton!), and watched the participants get ready for the parade. It was hard to choose one picture, but the rain had dampened the smiles of some - but not this lady.
