A Working Port

The condo in which we are staying while in California overlooks the second busiest port in the Untied States, the Port of Long Beach. A spectacular view from the 14th floor, we get to watch all the activity including the berthing of cruise ships, the in and out of pleasure craft, and the tugboat maneuvering of container ships through the narrow opening in the breakwater. The view is incredibly distracting, I find I cannot get anything done because I am continually watching what is going on, there is so much to see. Four weeks here, then a couple in Washington State - time will certainly fly.
