Sleeping in the heat

No holiday to Greece is complete without the odd visit to a monastery. And there will be in most monasteries, hiding somewhere, a cat. This cat was relaxing at St Nectarius monastery, location on the map!

We happened upon the monastery while we were on our way up to the highest point on the island, and also to see the house apparently built for Mussolini at Profotis Ilias. He never actually went there, though. The house is rather derelict. The monastery is in much better shape, however.
