Jas of all trades

I liked this early advertisement, made from forged iron and tucked away in dark corner.
The expression 'cow leach' is one I haven't met before.
This quote puts it into context.
“Little, if at all, Removed from the Illiterate Farrier or Cow-leech”: The English Veterinary Surgeon, c.1860–1885, and the Campaign for Veterinary Reform.

Seems he was one who could fix cow trouble. And his spelling wasn't too sure.
From Saffron Walden Museum, our place to visit today. A little gem.
