all in a day's work

A busy day, made worse by sleeping a bit late (7:30 is mid morning for me) as a result of not sleeping well.

Junior decided to unburden himself of a tricky problem late last evening, so it went to bed with me.

The sun shone all day however, and it's a normal late August temperature now, so a bit of feel good about.

I had a meeting right after lunch, and when I got back to my car afterwards, this chap was guarding it!

He moved to the back of the car as I got in, and refused to budge. I made noises and waved my arms (to the amusement of others in the car park who couldn't see the chook), but he stood his ground.

It was only a blast of diesel particulate from the exhaust which caused him the stroll off majestically.
