Lothian Edge

Walked with the club today, a stunning walk of 7 miles in West Lothian, near the beautiful little village of Stanton. We walked up on to Lothian Edge, from where my blip was taken. We had wonderful views right over to the Firth of Forth, and Bass Rock in the distance too. finished coming through Pressmennan Wood, an beautiful old oak woodland along the edge of Pressmennan Loch to finish at Ruchlaw.

We had superb sunny and warm weather all day, which is always such a bonus. Headed to West Linton for a pub stop, and had a great laugh in the wee local pub, The Linton.

Super day out. So glad I have a pair of walking boots!
