Moor and Forest

It was such a lovely afternoon we took Jet for a walk on Levisham Moor above Newton Dale and Pickering Forest. Didn't quite time our arrival at Skelton Tower to coincide with a steam train but the light and moorland were in fine fettle.

I felt the escarpments and heather moorland contrasted well with the managed forest below. Next time must consult the train timetable!
