Anatole's blips

Beinn Bhrotain

This is a BIG walk. Cycled up the glen to White bridge again then walked 10 miles over the top of Beinn Brhotain's 1163m granite mound, down the soft pink face which is a massive pavement of wobbly granite slabs across the beallach and along the long green mound of Monadh Mor (1113m). Add to that the ephemeral nature of the paths, especially up the thick heather slopes, makes this a really big day out. Great views to the East(left) through the centre of Cairngorm massive - seemingly walking half way round the Devil's Point.
