The poppies

I haven't been to the Tower of London for many, many years, but one of my childhood memories of a visit to London, which was a huge adventure in those days, was of Tower Bridge. I had one of those snowstorm things and loved it.

We went today to see the poppies and, although it's been blipped many times, this has to be my blip for today. Amazing sight!

A visit to the Folk Art Exhibition at Tate Britain.
A lovely lunch with our daughter at the Plum and Spilt Milk.
Many bus rides.
And tonight we are back to the Albert Hall and the Proms.

Looking after the grandchildren tomorrow.
