Hanna, Donald & Wilson

I decided to revisit this footbridge crossing over to Strathbungo today. With no foliage on the surroundings trees, it really cries out for a lick of paint.

Looking for small and interesting details, I noticed the bridge was made by Hanna, Donald & Wilson, a Scottish engineering firm founded in 1816, and sold off in 1920.

I'm glad they left their mark on both sides of this small footbridge for me to find all these years later.
