generosity knows many bounds

Not biting the hand which feeds you is all very well, but complaining politely about a hand which is repeatedly tapping you in the eyes with a stale loaf would be quite different. I can't immediately remember without staring into space for fifteen minutes or so which film it is that I'm thinking of but it featured little insights into the other happenings in the lives of people who featured only fleetingly as background in the main storyline; it came to mind today when observing certain people in various situations with various other people and caused mild amusement when imagining the voice-over which would have been applied over the earlier events, describing how they would affect the described entity's behaviour later in the day.

The difference between yesterday and today was quite marked in terms of how much was achieved, how much was perceived to have been achieved and how generally nicer it is to have had a decent amount of sleep and to have started the day slightly earlier, leading to a reduction in the amount of unpleasant interactions on the way from the place of sleep to the place of work. Must do it again tomorrow.
