Red Poppy

We went for a cycle ride this afternoon and ended up in the Botanic Gardens. The best of the summer blooming is over, but there's still a lot around. The autumn crocuses are out and looking good, but the first world war garden caught my eye. It must have looked absolutely brilliant a few weeks ago, but is still good now. The red poppies have largely finished but the cornflowers and daisies are still looking good. Thanks for yesterday's comments.
