Echoes of India

The colours of India come alive in this mural, painted in the Ashoka Restaurant in Byres Road. The bazaar bustling with all sorts of goodies. This is just part of it. Another part is rural in character: it is another India.

And the smells too. Our meal, with several different dishes gave us the magic smells of Indian spices.

All that was lacking was some genuine Indian music. All was quiet while we were there.
