Robin Barclay - one a day

Sailing into Lerwick, early morning

Great feeling sailing "home" into Lerwick on the Northlink ferry, overnight from Aberdeen. Sea was like glass - great trip. Got down to Beach House in Hoswick while Margaret and David were still there, and unloaded the car once they had gone. The dog was at home, as usual - in fact better here than back home in Dalkeith since he can wander down to the beach and burn by himself, set his own agenda (but he does like company). Unfortunately he is getting old and stiff.
Pat and the grandchildren arrived on time by plane from Edinburgh to Sumburgh - unfortunately it got a bit drizzly later - but anyway we had to do a food shopping up in Lerwick, then got an early-ish night, busy day tomorrow.
