Sister's Serenity

My sister and her husband live on this small lake. No matter the season, I find it, and their lovely home, quite serene.

We had a bonus night with my nephew, his wife and their 2 children. After dinner we were down on the dock fishing for pan fish when my 6 year old great nephew reeled in a turtle! Earlier in the week he had been trying to catch a turtle with a net except he reached a little too far, lost balance and fell in the lake! When he caught the turtle with his fishing rod tonight he said, "I don't need a net to catch a turtle, I can use my fishing pole!"

Fishies & turtle were all returned safely to the lake.
