Sakayan for Fisherman #Philippines

Typhoon Haiyan is the worst storm in history to have struck the Philippines.

An estimated six million workers lost their source of income; including 30,000 fishermen whose boats were destroyed.

IMPACT Philippines' is helping fishermen get back to work through our boat building programme. By providing them with boats we can help them get out at sea to start earning an income once more. These three men have just received their sakayan's meaning they can get back to sea!

After distributing this batch of 10 our team told us; “There were others lining up to be listed for batches 2 and 3.” The need is so great.
