Tracked Down

Took a while but I managed to track down a (reasonably priced) copy of the Akira anime soundtrack. This one differs from the usual soundtrack, which has artwork from the movie on the cover. This disc contains only the musical score and none of the atmospherics from the movie.

The recording is sublime, I have burned it to 16bit, 44.1 khz, FLAC files which I play through my iBasso DX 50 and KEF M500 headphones. Amazing stereo panning effects and some thumping percussion.

A worthy purchase and now I feel a burning need to go and watch Akira all over again!
