The Walton Lighthouse at Santa Cruz Harbor

I am standing at the mouth of the San Lorenzo River about a half mile from the Lighthouse. The river is often landlocked when the sand builds up. The blockage keeps the birds happy because they have a place to congregate. We are happy because we can walk all the way from the wharf to the Lighthouse.
