Duddingston Loch from Dr Neil's Garden

A feature on Edinburgh Spotlight highlighted 10 things that locals may not have done in Edinburgh. Of them all, Dr Neil's Garden was one I'd always meant to do but hadn't.

It's a pretty spot, accessed from the car park for Duddingston Church, and when I visited this morning, it was deserted. I thought it might make a pleasant destination for guests of ours who are staying at the cottage on the other side of Holyrood Park.

For me it formed a destination as part of a 10-mile walk today. Good going this week. Hope I can keep it up.
