Dorrigo National Park

The first of many rainforests.

We visited dorrigo national park and walked around here. It was really beautiful and there were also quite some birds as it is known as a nice place to spot birds.

After we visited the national park we went to the Dangar falls, prepared some lunch there. After that we headed off to Coffs Harbour to spend the night there. We walked around on the beach a bit and prepared some dinner.

In the camp kitchen we met Mike who, according to himself, was the man who knows most about Australia. He travelled the past 2 years through Australia and saw a LOT. As we talked with him he told us about all kinds of free places where we could go on our way up to Cairns. He was talking about who he almost finished his book with all these kind of free things to do in Australia. His website with his book is here.
It was really great to talk to him and get some nice tips of where to go which we definitely used in our travels up (especially as we didn't have any real fixed plan yet, except for some of the things we wanted to see)

Sad day as well because while walking in Dorrigo national park and while shooting a photo my camera decided it stopped working =/ The mirror won't close again, leaving me unable to take any more pictures...
