Quetschekuche

My mom made Quetschekuche - huge ones - and me and my two sisters didn't say no!
We ate one and split the second one for tomorrow (or tonight?).

I just love Quetschekuche* - and you can top the treat when you eat it with Grumbeersupp**. If it survives until tomorrow I might cook some to go with it.
My favorite Quetschekuche is one with yeast dow and a hint of cinnamon powdered on the plums - no cream. And that is exactly what you see here.

Grumbeersupp and Quetschekuche eaten together is a traditional dish in the Palatinate.
