Railway

This morning we drove to Pickering to catch the North Yorks Moors Railway to Whitby. A good journey there with beautiful scenery but the journey back was something of a nightmare with far too many passengers for the seats available. We stood for quite a way, crammed into a tiny passageway and when we did manage to get seats felt guilty for those still standing and ended up offering to let them sit instead. Discomfort or guilt. Not much of a choice and it spoiled things quite a bit.

To be fair to the Railway they replied very quickly to our email letting them know of the problems we encountered and explained that they are unable to run more trains because the real trains which run on the same line won't let them use it more.
