Autummer

Neologism no 2 this week but this one will never catch on.

The day was beautifully warm, the breeze was just right, the sky was richly blue and the views from the New Town to Fife were full of summer fields and woodlands.

But of course the first autumnal colours are appearing in the canopies. The rich red of the oak leaves here are invisible against the summery sky.
