Light Ball 1

Another in a series of experiments using different light sources and apparatus to Paint with Light and create "light sculptures". This was created by spinning one of those rubber star-shaped toys that have a blinking strobe inside.

My son attended a school dance Thursday night where they were selling them for 50 cents each! That's a bargain, so I bought one of each color and added them to my arsenal of lights.

Last night (early AM today actually), I cleared the room, tied one of these gadgets to a string and started spinning. Not quite perfect yet, but I have some other ideas I'll be sharing in the future...
