The End of Summer

Went out with the grands today and everywhere there were signs of the end of Summer The trees are turning brown and all the plants have their seed heads slowing turning brown as well..... I am just hoping that we do have, as promised by the weather men, an Indian Summer in September to shorten the long cold winter ahead. It was chilly enough to break out the hot water bottle last night...bah humbug!
