Going round in circles

In between answering lots of emails this afternoon I was trying to work on a question involving a circle, but it just wouldn't lie down. I got it out again and glared at it when I got home and immediately spotted the misplaced minus sign.

Now I have a headache. Luckily Mr H is cooking the tea!
