A Billion Points of Light

It was about a year ago that I published a photo of a sunset on the Saint Lawrence River.

What I did not capture was the evening sky, well past midnight. Not a creature was stirring, but I could not sleep.

The silence was maddening.

I thought of that star infused sky this evening and nearly sobbed. The memory of that moment still in my head, yet I had no way of sharing it with anyone else.

Textures, galaxies, and a billion points of light.

How could I ever share such a rare moment in time?

Not with an iPhone.
