Grey squirrel

I have to say that grey squirrels are not my favourite creatures, they are responsible for the demise of our indigenous reds not to mention taking eggs and chicks from bird's nests. This youngster hopped into a tree in front of me so just had to be blipped as it posed so nicely. It was amusing to watch as it hadn't sussed that it jumping onto thin branches resulted in a fall! I rather like it's tiger stripes too.

This afternoon I went for a walk along the canal and Mere at Ellesmere. The sun was shining and everywhere looked beautiful.

Tomorrow I'm taking Mum to the Lleyn Peninsular for couple of nights so will back blip my photos when I get back.
