Camouflage

We visited Barnsdale Gardens today and feel quite ashamed to admit that this was our first visit to these beautiful gardens because they are not far from home.
Geoff Hamilton and Gardeners World were a fairly regular part of our TV viewing too.
There are 39 unique small gardens linked by woodland walks and landscaped borders and, as you can imagine, loads of photographs were taken. We chose this butterfly because it was so beautifully camouflaged among the marigolds.

Yesterday's heron was backblipped this morning. After all, shopping can be tiring. :-)
