Four Oaks Show

Our local trade show today.Delivering this morning then a quick lunch and off to the show.In the picture is Roy who we have dealt with for probably 25 years.In our job your friends tend to be your suppliers and customers because there is little time to have a social life.I wanted to get Jane into the shot but she was having none of it,we were friends at college together over 30 years ago.Where did that time go I wonder.One clever bugger (John Lennon)said life is what happens while you are busy making other plans.So true.

The show wasn't very busy and I was disappointed with the trade stands.Still we made a couple of new contacts that look interesting.For me one of the best parts of the day is tea at the Edgeron Arms on the way home but three courses doesn't help the waist line.
We did manage to get a couple of large extractor fans ordered for the 6 bay tunnel which will move about 82000m3 of air an hour which should help with the ventilation.Came home to find one of the side vents which are 60ft long and 7 ft high had twisted itself to bits.The motor ( yes you have guessed correctly Italian) failed to stop at the cut off point.Always something.

On a lighter note Dotty came to see us as we pulled in with the car.
