Ferris's farewell

So it's farewell to the festival ferris wheel. It has taken a turn for the worst and is slowly being dismantled. I've managed not to blip it until now but I couldn't resist the combination of setting sun and dismembered wheel.

Give it a few months and it will be back again, fully regenerated in the guise of a festive ferris wheel for Edinburgh's Hogmanay.

It has more lives than Doctor Who and fluffy kittens combined. What goes round comes around.
