Doorway

This was an idea I had for a series (another cliche?). But there are no lovely Georgian doorways with fanlights around here . . . if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with. I noticed this gate years ago and have only just now gotten around to blipping it . . .

Seven more snaps taken on a little walk around the neighbourhood this evening.

A blip for blip's sake. Street photography around here would amount to just that - empty streets devoid of people with only the occasional vehicle and maybe someone walking their dog . . . still coming to grips with the beginner flubs of forgetting to play with fstops, white balance, metering, ISO and then forgetting to reset them when I go on to picture something else in different light . . . I'm too fidgetty . . .
