Techmeetup

Through to Glasgow to give a talk with Matt. A funky, university building just off Byres Road with great views and poor ventilation. Imagine a roomful of techies, beer and pizza - you'll get the odour.

Then back to Mount Florida to collect Owen. My phone was dead and I'd forgotten which flat was his, so I was padding around the first floor looking at doors, waiting for some inspiration when one of them opened and out popped Davie Cameron. We went up to Owen's with a bottle of wine, which delayed departure considerably.

I finally extracted Owen and we set off back to the Borders. He was well over half cut, and progressed towards full-cutness during the journey s he chugged through another few Stellas.

At least he never feel asleep.
