Raspberries

i have reconciled myself to the fact that crete is too hot and dry for growing things like berry fruit, so i rarely get a chance to savour this fruit here where i live

we dont even see them at the supermarket, so i was surprised to see them today - greek raspberries grown in Metsovo, on the northern greek mainland

they werent cheap (4,50 a pottle), and i know i will be getting my fill of these fruits quite soon when i travel abroad, but i was tempted to try them, just to see what they were like

i think they are the best raspberries i have ever had - just sweet enough the way they should
